cool album to listen to #4

Nadja- Radiance of Shadows

This isn't like any of the other albums i've posted yet, its a slow one with 20 minute tracks. When I first saw the cover and that it was on Alien 8 records, i thought it was going to be some kind of dark drone, and hopefully somewhat blackened since i had just listened to noise/black metal group Menace Ruine off of the same label. I was sort of right, and it was better than i thought! I really hope I dont sound like a douchebag, but the first thing that came to mind was referring to it as blackened shoegazer. The guitar is way distorted and totally has a wall of sound thing going on, pretty dark, and slow drum machine in back. Amazing album to psych out to, and while lots of people incorrectly say a lot of albums are best listened to loud, no joke, best experience with this one is just blasting it fucking loud.
