so I just heard this album on Dirty Rotten Wes' show before mine, (check it out at kuci.org!) and I'm in love with in less than a whole day. I'm a pretty big sucker from dream-y dark music, and this is that PLUS garage rock. Just the right amount of rawness and pop.

best show i've had in a long time. I tried to record it but i guess i didnt! le sigh.
anyways, starts off with garage rock and punk stuff, definite highlights include
the vaselines, the speedies and the gun club. starts using psychedelic music to slow
down, then we start going to ambient, then finish off with a psych scorcher by loop!

Started off with some garage, changed it up to some psych garage, then to some more psych-y drone stuff, a lil bit of very beautiful ambience, some sad piano music, and ended it off with some rockkk n roll!

Coolest thing of this show? finally checking out roky erickson! He was in the 13th floor elevators, and his solo stuff is cool. check out his wiki article for fun facts about him.
